Data generated through Google Analytics is stored on servers controlled by Google.
Your personal data is hosted on servers operated by our service providers and is protected by security measures proportional to the sensitivity of the data, safeguarding it against unauthorized disclosure, modification, and use. Your financial data is subject to security measures applied by our service providers in accordance with the standards imposed by payment card networks.
Our employees and service providers are informed of the confidential nature of the personal data collected through the Websites and during Events and are made aware of appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal data.

Some of our sponsors may indirectly benefit from the personal data we collect through targeted advertising campaigns. We never share your data directly with our sponsors. We offer some of our business partners the opportunity to target a custom audience using data in our possession, in a manner similar to how online advertising service providers such as Google and META operate.
6.4. Our Legal Obligations
We may also disclose personal data to third parties if expressly permitted or required by applicable law, or if compelled to do so by a competent authority. We may disclose personal data in the context of legal proceedings if necessary to protect our rights or those of our users.

If you continue to visit the Websites or participate in an Event, we will collect certain data about you again.
7.4. Filing a Complaint
Our company is governed by the laws and regulations applicable in Québec and Canada and falls under the jurisdiction of Québec and Canadian privacy authorities.
The laws or regulations in your place of residence may allow you to contact a supervisory authority with jurisdiction. Otherwise, any complaint or claim based on this policy or our processing of your personal data should be directed to the relevant Québec or Canadian authorities.
7.5. Identity Verification
We may verify the identity of individuals requesting access to their personal data. Any information collected for this purpose will not be used for any other reason.
8. CHANGES TO THE POLICY

This document sets out the terms and conditions of sale (“the Agreement”) for tickets to the 2025 edition of the Montréal Beach Pro Tour – Elite 16. The term “Client” refers to a person who has purchased a ticket for the Montréal Beach Pro Tour – Elite 16, the term “Event” refers to the Montréal Beach Pro Tour – Elite 16, and the term “Organization” refers to the Beach Volleyball Événements team, promoter of the Montréal Beach Pro Tour – Elite 16.
By purchasing a ticket for the Event, the Client acknowledges having read and accepted the terms of the Agreement. If the Client is a minor, their parent or legal guardian acknowledges having read and consented to the Agreement. If a ticket is offered or purchased by a third party, the Client benefiting from the ticket is deemed to have accepted the Agreement.
In the event of a discrepancy between the English and French versions of this document, the French version shall be deemed the official one. For any questions or further information related to this Agreement, please contact us at: info@mtlbeachprotour.com.
Notwithstanding the safety measures in place, injuries may occur during the Event. The Client, on their own behalf and on behalf of their representatives, assigns, heirs, executors, and personal successors, fully and permanently releases Beach Volleyball Événements, the host city(ies), region, and province, Volleyball Canada, Volleyball Québec, Volleyball World, and the International Volleyball Federation, as well as all municipal or semi-municipal agencies whose facilities and/or personnel are involved in or contribute in any way to the Event, all companies sponsoring or co-sponsoring the Event, all individuals associated with the Event, all suppliers and subcontractors involved in the organization of the Event, and all charities affiliated with the Event, along with their agents, directors, shareholders, successors, and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”), from any liability to the Client and their representatives, assigns, heirs, executors, and personal successors for any loss, damage, or claim due to injury, material damage, or death suffered by the Client, whether caused by the active or passive negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, in connection with the Client’s participation in the Event (“losses”), and agrees not to pursue any of the above parties for such losses.
The Client is fully aware of the inherent risks and dangers associated with participating in this Event and voluntarily chooses to participate. The Client accepts all risks of loss, damage, or injury that may occur during their participation in the Event.
In certain situations, applicable laws may not allow for the limitation of liability as described above, in which case such limitation shall not apply. If any part of this limitation is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the total liability of the Organization (or any third party working with the Organization) shall not exceed the value of the ticket purchased.
The Client acknowledges and agrees that the Organization (and its service providers) may capture their image and voice, including but not limited to, photographs and videos during the Event. The Client acknowledges that the Event may be broadcast on television or online and that their image and voice may be recorded and retransmitted.
The Client irrevocably assigns to the Organization all rights arising from their image rights and agrees that the Organization (and any other entity duly authorized by it) may distribute these images and voice recordings in any form (films, videos, photos, print media, social networks, etc.) and may use them for any purpose (including, but not limited to, advertising and commercial use).
The Client hereby waives and releases the Organization (and any duly authorized entity) from all liability regarding the use of their image and voice, and from any claim or right they may have arising from such use.
The Client acknowledges having read the Event’s Privacy Policy and agrees that their personal data will be processed as described in the policy. The Client understands that their data may also be processed by entities other than the Organization, and in such cases, the privacy policy of the respective organization shall apply.
The Client agrees to receive the Event’s newsletter and promotional content, as well as promotions from its trusted partners. Personal information provided will be collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The Client may request to be removed from mailing lists by writing to: info@mtlbeachprotour.com.
Illegal resale of tickets is prohibited.
Tickets are non-refundable.
It is the Client’s responsibility to comply with the Organization’s and public authorities’ requirements to participate in the Event. Under no circumstances will the Organizer refund a Client who fails to meet the entry requirements for the Event.
The Organization reserves the right to expel any Client displaying inappropriate behaviour at the Event venue. No refund will be provided in such cases.
The Client agrees to comply with the Event’s security measures (e.g., bag checks, prohibited items, etc.). No outside food or beverages will be permitted on site, except food for children under 2 years of age.
If the Organization must modify certain aspects of the Event (e.g., rescheduling matches due to weather) due to exceptional circumstances, no full or partial refunds will be issued.
In the case of full or partial Event cancellation due to force majeure (e.g., dangerous weather conditions), the Organizer will assess compensation options but is under no obligation to provide any. If compensation or a refund is granted, transaction fees will not be refunded.
All disputes arising from this Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada.
